Thoughtful, steady therapy for meaningful change

About
Rebecca Rottinger

You’ll experience a caring, steady presence when we meet. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels grounded and comfortable, infused with compassion, clarity, and at times, a bit of humor. Therapy with me is collaborative. We slow down, make sense of what feels tangled, and work toward helping you feel more in control of your life.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable, yet find themselves overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, caught in painful relationship patterns, navigating safety concerns, or carrying the weight of trauma and grief. Together, we explore not just symptoms, but the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how you move through the world. My goal is not only relief, but meaningful and sustainable change.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and person-centered counseling, blending structure with reflection and practical tools with relational depth. I am an inclusive provider and am committed to creating a space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University in 2015 and have provided care to children, adolescents, and adults across a range of settings. In addition to clinical work, I serve as a clinical supervisor, supporting developing therapists in thoughtful and ethical practice.

If you are looking for therapy that is steady, collaborative, and growth-oriented, I would be honored to work with you.
